Creative Living Community of CT envisions adults in Connecticut with and without developmental disabilities as valued and contributing members of our society, exemplified in a model community to be created in Eastern Connecticut where all members experience a sense of belonging, share resources and enjoy a happy life.
CLCC seeks to create a shared, inclusive living experience for individuals with and without developmental disabilities in a farmstead village, by focusing upon the gifts of all in mutually rewarding relationships.
The Farmstead Village is the key element of the vision. People with and without a disability will interact by living together, working together and socializing together. When complete, there will be a mixed community of approximately eighty people. About twenty of the Farmstead Village residents would be diagnosed with a developmental disability.
These are pictures of the CLCC Greenhouse at the Tolland County Agricultural Center in Vernon where Curtis and many other adults with developmental disabilities spend time each week being contributing members of society by growing micro greens for area restaurants.
Proceeds from the purchase of Cards by Curtis will benefit the CLCC project.
THANK YOU for your purchase of Curt’s art!
